Harvey Warren Trust New Years Day Wheelbarrow Race 2020

Welcoming in 2020, Harvey Warren Trust will once again be holding the
annual Wheelbarrow race around Hampton Park Green.

As usual, this is a fancy dress event and we are looking forward to
another great day and some fantastic costumes.

The race will begin at 12 o’clock and will involve three laps of Hampton
Park Green and we would invite participants and spectators to congregate
in or around the Pavilion from 1130.

The trustees of Hampton Park Pavilion have been kind enough to allow us
the use of the pavilion again where we will be offering a hearty chilli
and a punchy Gluwhein after the race and hot dogs and juice for the
children.

There will be prizes for the best dressed team and wheelbarrow, most
sponsorship raised and the fastest team.

Many local businesses have once again been incredibly generous in
donating various prizes for the raffle which will be held after the race
and you could be in with the chance of winning family days out and meals
at local restaurants amongst others.

We are again very grateful for In-Excess kindly allowing lending us some
of their wheelbarrows for the event so if any teams would like to borrow
one then please do let us know in advance.

We look forward to seeing an even bigger turnout this year and having a
great start to 2020.
